I moved to Chicago and packed four hundred sundresses. Didn't factor in the part about Chicago getting just as freezing as Minnesota. No fear! I live a few blocks from Filene's Basement, and picked up this mutha' yesterday.

Jou Jou, faux fur. And now, after realizing I love in a dorm with Starbucks that comes in my meal plan, I'd say things are going well.

I'll try to keep this short, because I have a lot of pictures. Today some friends and I encountered the greatest Salvation Army I have ever been to. I only got three things, because we got there around closing time (duh). Going back tomorrow... I only spent seven bucks. I know I got more in me.

* & I just officially became one of those people who buys something because of that "cool Japanese on it". Whatevaaa. Ninety nine cents say's, "Yes".

NOW THAT YOU'RE HERE

I need to go shopping. I tried to make three outfit posts today and I changed out of all of them. It's hard picking the clothes you want to settle with for the next year when you move, and I couldn't bring everything so I tried to bring staples. Well, all I brought were the staples, nothing to add on. This is basically a post that consists of complaining (apologies) . I have 20 emergency bucks in my drawer and I intend to spend it all at Salvation Army this weekend. Can't wait.

I'm obsessed with this top. It stood in my closet for months before I ever dared to wear it, now I need to space out time to wear it. I'm all settled into Chicago now, classes started today. This has been a crazy couple weeks for me. The craziest in my life. Forgive the slow posts?

I'll be in Chi-Town, baby. I'm about to start my first year of college at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts, majoring in classical voice performance. It's 5:47am. I leave in less than four hours. Goodbye, Minnesota ♥ .

I HATE THIS PART OF TOWN

I'm leaving for college in five days. So, mama got a flat & curling iron, what what!! The first I've ever owned in my life. All mine. I think I'm ready for Chicago now (...maybe not.) Whateva.
